New month, new product roundup format! We're combining all of our latest releases into one easy-to-digest post each month, so you never have to go far to see what's new in Teamwork.com. Here's what our Product team has in store for you this month.

Take your resourcing game to the next level with Placeholders

Need a Senior Designer for upcoming work, but don’t want to be bogged down by specific team assignments? Enter Placeholders, the latest feature that’s here to make resourcing your work a snap.

Placeholders are role-based, unnamed resources that let you plan work without assigning a specific person upfront—helping you zero in on expertise rather than individuals. You can map out capacity and set realistic timelines by Role, then efficiently transfer the work to actual team members when ready.

Placeholders are especially helpful when it comes to:

  • Preventing over-allocation

  • Supporting hiring decisions

  • Ensuring the right people are assigned to the right work at the right time

Want to know even more about how to use Placeholders—complete with handy examples? Get the full rundown of this new feature here

(While this release is for Scale users only, you can always speak with a member of our team to learn more about upgrading your plan.)

We’re taking the pain—or at least some of it—out of invoicing in Teamwork.com, complete with a new invoice library, a more intuitive creation flow, and a modern design that will make spending more time with your invoicing work more appealing (difficult to imagine, we know).
